Marija Mitić
Serbian born soprano Marija Mitić finished her opera studies at the University of arts in Berlin, Germany while working with singing teacher Snežana Nena Brzaković.
Marija started her operatic career in 2013 with the role Arsena in Der Zigeunerbaron (J. Strauss II) at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in Rheinsberg, Germany and at the state theater in Braunschweig, Germany.
The following year she debuted as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte (W. A. Mozart) once again at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg.
She also sang a wide range of concert and oratorio repertoire, including Messiah (G. F. Händel) in Bonn and in Belgrade, Serbia, Von der Macht des Gesanges (S. Matthus) in Frankfurt Oder, Germany, Messa di Requiem (G. Verdi) in Berlin, Carmina Burana (C. Orff), Stabat Mater (F. Poulenc), Die Krönungsmesse (W.A.Mozart) in Belgrade Serbia, La riconoscenza (G. Rossini) in Eisenstein, Austria, Rose Pilgerfahrt (R. Schumann) and Ein Deutshes Reqieum (J. Brahms) in Zwickau, Germany.
In 2016 Marija debuted as Sandrina in La finta giardiniera (W. A. Mozart) with TOCC CONCEPT in Berlin.
Since 2017 Marija is a permanent member of theater Plauen Zwickau (Germany) where she debuted as La Musica in L´Orfeo (C. Monteverdi), Tatjana in Eugene Onegin (P. I. Tschaikovsky) and Pamina Die Zauberflöte.
In season 2018/2019 she made her debuts as Hanna Glawari in Die lustige witwe (F. Lehar), Gänsemagd in Königskinder (E. Humperdinck) and Aida in Aida (G. Verdi) and in 2019/2020 as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (W.A.Mozart).
Since 2020 Maria has been working as a freelance artist exploring new genres like crossover, pop and meditation music.
